Congratulations to all those who participated in the free A.E.D./ resuscitation day which took place in beautiful Bedwellty House, Tredegar. Training was given by the Welsh Ambulance Trust and funding for the A.E.D’s came from the Communities First, Tredegar Branch.
In all, the course was attended by 16 individuals from the Tredegar Locality and names include:- Adam Carsley, Lynne Morgan, Sue Williams, Sarah Williams, Sharon Prosser, Gail Shuck, Mike Morgan (Gwentdefibbers chairman), Catherine Williams, Jill Jones, Jayne Hale, Julie Hales, Kay Yeates, Rachel Hudd, Julie Gough, Roger and Sue Cockbill.
The course taught everyone what do do in the event of someone collapsing and the ambulance personnel then taught everyone how to use the A.E.D.
It is hoped that those individuals who participated in the training will feel more confident in their abilities should they ever need to use the A.E.D.
